Job DescriptionEducation Qualifications:As a LPN or CMA on our Pulmonary Disease Team , you will assist RNs, Physicians and other providers. You will provide direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. You will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Brainerd-Baxter is home to 65,000 year-round residents and is located in one of the fastest growing counties in the state.This Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will support our Pulmonary Disease Team. You will work 72 hours every two weeks.Licensure/Certification Qualifications:Required Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state (Minnesota) -OR- current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant -OR- Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. (Must pass certification within two attempts)
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months.
